No blank page
Most journal apps hand you an empty box and wish you luck. Inlet hands you a question — a check-in, a photo, one good thing about yesterday, an aim for today. Answer in a line if a line is all you've got, then press Save — Inlet is keeping it as you type anyway, so nothing is lost, and there's nothing to fill out.
Your journal stays yours
Nothing you write is visible to anyone unless you take a deliberate step to share it. That includes the people in your own group — they see you're showing up, and nothing you wrote unless you tag them in an entry and share that one entry with them. Your photos are served behind an owner check, over links that expire — to you, and to anyone you shared that entry with. There's more detail on the privacy page.
It remembers, and it looks ahead
Set an aim — “when I get home, I'll call Dad” — and Inlet brings it back to ask where it landed. Over weeks it reads what you've written and keeps a living summary of you: what's been happening, what you keep circling, what you're still carrying. That's the part a notes app can't do.
Installing
Inlet is in testing on Google Play, so there is one extra step the first time: join the test, then install from Play as you would any app. Join with the same Google account your phone uses, or Play won't show it to you. Updates arrive on their own after that. Step-by-step on the download page.
